One of the pieces that will become part of the permanent collection of the hospital, is a wall mural created by Susannah Hart Thomer, of Plymouth Meeting, and Michael Wigg, of Trooper. The mural is a "10-by-15-foot depiction of the iconic Wissahickon Creek."

The opening reception is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
