County Commissioners to Meet With Residents
Town hall style meetings to be held in Lansdale, Ardmore, Pennsburg, Glenside, and Pottstown
This article was written by the Montgomery County Office of Communications.
Over the next few weeks, the Montgomery County Commissioners will be having conversations about county government with residents throughout the county.
The commissioners have scheduled a series of five “Conversations With Your Commissioners” beginning this Saturday, January 19 in Lansdale. The series concludes in Pottstown on Monday, February 11. Other stops include Lower Merion, Pennsburg, and Glenside.
“These conversations with the commissioners are another in a series of ways we are trying to keep residents informed about what we are doing,” said Josh Shapiro, chair of the commissioners. “We live stream our meetings on line and use social media a great deal to inform everyone about what is going on in the county.
“We urge residents to attend these conversations so they can hear what we have tried to do during our first year in office, and we can hear what issues are most important to our residents,” Shapiro said.

They are going to tell us what they are doing? Do they think they can get all residents into these meetings? I wonder if they thought about the internet, a a way of perpetuating their information?

They might as well broadcast it because lets face the fact they really don't care what we think anyhow. They will do what they feel like doing. They will parse words, lie by omission, dance around the truth, complain about the previous commissioners, the Corbett Administration and to a lesser extent the Federal government. Remember 2 of these guys are lawyers, the group of people who are most intent on ruining this county from the inside out. I would expect no one will get any answer to anything except, we'll get back to you on that

Steven/JxJipper, you should go to one of these, not enough citizens attend. These are very capable, experienced and professional people, but they are progressives.
Whole county and its schools are dominated by progressive ecojustice which now covers everything in our lives. Life must be fundamentally changed and fast to save the environment and create fairness. Your current lifestyle is not sustainable.
Check out Rendell Building America, America 2050 dot org or the Del Valley Reg Planning Commission, they're fast at work on high speed rail and new boundaries, wittling local authority, convincing us to be anti-car and pro-urban dwelling, and we pay for it all. Big businesses way in. :)

Lee, I had posted a response but it was apparently too deep for the "monitor/editor" to decipher so they deleted it. My point was that none of these officials care about our "rights" because they all believe "rights" come from them, the government and not from the natural rights of man. This is the apex of arrogance by men who claim to be "educated".

County Commissioners to Meet With Residents "What a Joke", after ward they all go and have a drink and laugh at the folks who made suggestions and ask the hard questions. They are in office now, the ball is in their court and they will sell out Norristown and make excuses with a smile on their face and money in their pocket.
