We've all got something to say. Share your ideas with your local community!
You know you want to. You know you've got a message to deliver. There is something you feel strongly about and care for greatly. There is an organization that needs more members. You want to show off how great your club is in this local community.
Patch blogs are a great place to do all of that! Patch offers a platform into your own local community. You can share your thoughts, vent into a therapeutic tunnel, ask for ideas, provide insight, share your skills ... the list is truly endless.
Some folks start a blog to promote their business. Maybe you have a unique skill or deep knowledge of a particular subject. You can share that with your neighbors.
Perhaps you have a knack for baking, or are a foodie who's in tune with the trends of this region. Maybe you've just started learning a new hobby. These are more great reasons to blog.
The list can go on and on. There are an infinite number of ways someone can blog. And we are open to all of your ideas. Come share your voice with the local community! Blog for Patch!
How do you get started? It's easy. See that little graphic in the upper right-hand corner. A simple little pen that reads "Start a Blog." That's it. Click it! You can find it on each homepage, nestled under the top four stories.
That's it. One touch of a button, and you are immediately granted access to sharing your opinions, your world, your loves with the community.
If you have any quesitons, you'll find the Local Editor's information at the top right corner of each homepage. Click there to email them for more quesitons, or if you'd like hit me up at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm happy to walk you through the process.
Bloggers are unpaid contributors to Patch, but gain access to a sizeable local forum on which they can post their own ideas, opinions or ask for others to share. We welcome all ages (under 16 with parents' permission)!
Click on the pen today, and share your talents with the town! We can't wait to hear from you.
