Ambler Savings Bank Celebrates Community Banking Month with Food Drive for Philabundance

April is Community Banking Month, and community banks across the nation are celebrating their customers and communities.

Ambler Savings Bank, with locations in Ambler, Fairview Village, Schwenksville, and Limerick, is celebrating Community Banking Month by giving back to our communities. We want to bring together our employees, customers, and communities to help those in need, and to do so, will be hosting a canned and non-perishable foods drive for Philabundance. The food collected during the drive will be sent to Philabundance and dispersed to their network of 500 agencies and programs throughout the Delaware Valley, which includes Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard in Ambler, Manna on Main Street in Lansdale, Catholic Social Services in East Norrtion, and Open Door Ministry in Royersford, among other Montgomery County based agencies.

Ambler Savings Bank is celebrating 140 years in business in Montgomery County, and to honor those years serving our communities, the Bank has a goal to collect 140 pounds of food across all four branches.
