Acclaimed Christian Singer and Metacton Grad Visits Collegeville Sunday

Singer-songwriter Laura Kaczor, a Collegeville native and a graduate of Methacton High School, appeared today at True North Christian Church in Trappe for an afternoon workshop and worship.

Kaczor, a triple-threat as a singer-songwriter, speaker, and worship leader, has four top 20 or 25 Billboard chart radio hits from her third CD titled “Love Enough,” and was picked as one of the top 10 new female Christian singers by NewRelease Tuesday.  

While at her home base of Nashville, Tennessee, Kaczor recorded John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

At 6 p.m., Kaczor held the LifeThirst Workshop Concert - The Restore Me Tour, a religious concert for all ages and denominations.

"LifeThirst has its roots in a quarterly seven-year event in the are called Jesus Fest that united 150 churches with 1000 attending where Kaczor led worship," according to a press release.

Kaczor led a Lift Up Workshop at 4 p.m. on identity in Christ versus the world, self-worth, self-esteem, true beauty, purpose and purity.

According to Kaczor, she founded LifeThirst after her own transformation in high school through contemporary worship at a Creation Festival.
