'Little Women,' Teen Dance and Free Guitar Show Top the Week Ahead

Check out what this week will bring in Lower Providence Township.

Methacton High School wil present "Little Women."  The show runs Thursday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m., Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m., and Saturday March 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door before each performance and may also be reserved by e-mailing mhstheatretickets@yahoo.com. Tickets are Adults: $18 and Seniors and Students: $15.

Grove Club 56: The Lower Providence Fire Company will play host to Grove Club 56, a dance, instruction and singing night of fun for those in fifth and sixth grades on Friday, March 1. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase, and a Groove Instructor will be on hand to teach "new moves." The dance will run from 7 to 9 p.m. The entrance fee is $12 for residents of the township, and $15 for non-residents. The event is sponsored by the Lower Providence Parks and Recreation Department.

Free Guitar Show at the Library:  The Lower Providence Community Library will be the location of a free guitar show on Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 7 to 8 p.m. Peter Biedermann, an instrumental guitarist from New Jersey who has been composing and performing for over 35 years, will play the show, which is free and open to the public.
