A Full Room at Candidate Patrick Duffy's Tailgate Fundraiser

Patrick T. Duffy is running for Lower Providence supervisor on the republican ticket.

Patrick T. Duffy, a Lower Providence supervisor candidate for the republican party, hosted a ‘Tailgate With the Candidate' meet-and-greet fundraiser at the Collegeville Italian Bakery in Collegeville, PA on Saturday night, which was attended by local supporters who were treated to good conversation, a silent auction and the bakery’s renowned food.

The tailgate began at 7:30 p.m., with rows of sandwiches and soda. Duffy’s supporters took a break from chatting and catching up with friends to participate in a silent auction, where the lucky winners received gift baskets made by Gloria Corcoran, a long-tome republican committeeperson and a volunteer for Duffy’s campaign.

Jim Van Horn, chairman of the republican committee in Lower Providence, helped to choose Duffy as their candidate, amongst other political hopefuls for Lower Providence supervisor.

Van Horn was pleased that Duffy had grown up in the area and now chooses to raise his family here. “He’s an attorney, he’s well-educated and he is involved in the activities of this area,” Van Horn added.

Duffy himself enjoyed the evening. “It was a great night and a good turnout, and I appreciate the support I’ve had in the county,” he said.
