Free Tutoring (Reading Only, sorry, no math or science) is available for children who are having trouble with basic reading skills. One or more highly trained local high school or college students are volunteering their time to help 1st through 5th grade students learn how to read (sorry, our program is not suitable for older students or adults.) Tutors are trained and certified by the American Youth Literacy Foundation, a Collegeville, PA-based 501 (c) (3) serving children nationwide. Tutoring sessions are one-on-one at the library and for approximately 30 minutes, once per week after school or on weekends. If your child is struggling with reading (sorry, this program is not for advanced readers) and you want to see them get back on track and catch up to their peers quickly, please call the number below to schedule a free reading assessment. There may be a waiting list so call soon!610-733-8581
