THE METHACTON WARRIORS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM WEAR PINK JERSEYS TO HELP TACKLE BREAST CANCER

During the month of October, the PAC-10 football
league is raising awareness for the fight against breast cancer.  The Methacton Warriors High School Football
team will be taking the field in pink jerseys on October 19, 2013, to honor and
support the awareness for the fight against breast cancer.  The football team is asking their Warrior
fans to wear pink on that day to demonstrate their support as well.  The Methacton Warrior football team,
cheerleaders, band members and parents, have joined together by selling baked
good items during the game and all money raised is being donated to the
Einstein Medical Center Montgomery-Women’s Center to benefit men and women in
our neighborhood.  This is the football

team’s third year helping to raise awareness for the fight against breast

cancer.  The football players are also
donating their spare change at their weekly pasta dinners to help raise
money.  During our Play for the Cure game
on October 19th, the Warriors will honor all individuals, whether they are
survivors, battling cancer, or who have lost their fight, by a dedication page
which their names will be read throughout game.
It’s more than just breast cancer, this is about honoring all
individuals whose lives have been affected by cancer and us supporting all of
them.  If you cannot attend our October
19th game, but would like to make a donation, donations will be collected during the month of October, and can be sent to/made payable to Methacton Football Parents Club, ATTN: Play for the Cure, PO Box 23, Fairview Village, PA
19409. If you have any questions, you can contact Sue Lowery at
suescope@aol.com.

Special thanks
to Collegeville Italian Bakery and Toscos for their participation in allowing
us to place donation jars in their establishments to help us raise money for
this cause.

The Warriors
hope you will come out and join them for this very special game and help
support the Warriors Play for the Cure!!!

LET’S TACKLE BREAST CANCER TOGETHER!!
