The Audubon/Oaks Lions Club Invites Community to Join and Make a Difference

The Audubon/Oaks Lions Club is seeking civic-minded men and women to join them in making a difference in the community. The club is hosting an information session on Sept.21 at Upper Providence Day being held at the Upper Providence Park on Black Rock Road 1-5pm and Oct.5 at Lower Providence Day being held at Lower Providence Township Building 11-4pm for people who want to learn more about the club and its work.

“Our club gives members an opportunity to advance worthy causes, serve with friends, and become leaders in the community. This club means a lot to our Lions, but it means so much more to the people we serve,” said Jeffrey Mason

The Lions’ motto is “We Serve,” and the Audubon/Oaks Lions Club has lived up to it. For 64 years, the clubs has been a mainstay in the community helping many blind and visually impaired people in the community and helping others with sight issues.  We have a very visible presence in the community whether it be at our Community Yard Sale in the Spring and Fall, Working the Pancake Breakfast at Mill Grove, to cleaning up Trooper Road for adopt a highway we are always there to lend a helping hand and give back to the people of tis great community.
