There are so many reasons to make this happen. This would be so good for LPT on numerous levels. Quality of life in the township goes up. Fiscal bottom line for the township improves as well. Win win.

There are downsides. More money for the Neilsen predators, for one thing. Not that they don't already have a super sweetheart deal going on that property. Also, there should be NO extension of Crawford Road across that openspace! Neilsen has been gunning for that for thirty years, to open up his personal property on Park Ave. Remember when he went and built that road across the golf course when the Township had PROHIBITED him from doing it? NO ROAD ACROSS OPEN SPACE.

SJD; So we are going to shoot the township in the foot to get back at Neilson? _______________________________________And are you talking about extending Crawford Rd to Rittenhouse? What, would the increased traffic disturb the golfers? It is not like it is a nature preserve. And LPT needs more access.
