Collegeville Man Suspected as Alleged Drug Dealer

According to a Montgomery County District court document, District Judge Cathleen Rebar issued a search warrant involving controlled substances found at a residence along Glenwood Avenue in Collegeville Borough.

The Collegeville Police Department and members of the Montgomery County Drug Task Force conducted the search at approximately 8 p.m. on Nov. 28. At least four of the occupants found at the premises, including one apprehended while leaving the residence, were detained.

The court documents state that the following “items of significance" were located on the premises:

• Loose and packaged (dime bag/gram) Marijuana

• Packaging material (zip lock baggies)

• Safe with drug paraphernalia located inside

• Marijuana smoking items

• Canister with hidden compartment

• Empty Zip lock baggies with residue

• Digital scale

The court document also states that Lower Providence Police Cpl. Matthew Kuhnert and his K-9 partner conducted a search of one of the occupant’s vehicle, which was found to have a “postivie response for a controlled substance,” and included a digital scale with marijuana residue.

One of the occupant’s celluar phone contained text messages, indicating the sale of marijuana, the court document stated. The document also stated that the owner of the phone was Sean Morris, 22, which, according to the document, he later provided a written statement to police admitting to allegations of drug dealing.

Other court documents relating to Morris show he has several drug-related charges against him dating to Nov. 20.

The charges include:

• Manufacture, Delivery or Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver

• Criminal Use of Communication Facility

• Possession of Marijuana

• Use and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
