Lower Providence police met early in the morning of Sept. 23 with an employee at an auto body shop in the Lower Providence area who reported a theft of all four tires from a vehicle that had been sitting in their parking lot awaiting service, according to a Lower Providence police report.

Police noticed that a car in the parking lot sat on soda crates and was missing tires and rims, say police. The employee said that he would tell the car’s owner, and that the cost to replace each wheel, with its rims and electronic sensors, would be about $500 per wheel, say police.
