LP Man Headed to Trial for Alleged Drunk Bus Theft
Andre Leon Wilson, of Lower Providence, faces felony charges in connection with a drunk bus stolen from a Hatfield bar in January.
A Lower Providence man is facing felony charges for allegedly stealing a bus used by a Hatfield bar for transporting customers who've had a bit too much too drink.
According to Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch, 38-year-old Andre Leon Wilson, of the 4000 block of Cardin Place, is facing charges of felony theft, felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor unauthorized use of a vehicle, misdemeanor DUI and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Hatfield Police say Wilson was drunk when he allegedly drove off with the van owned by Hattrick's Bar. According to employees of the bar, the van was left unattended but running in front of the bar while the driver waited inside for customers to drive home. Police say they tracked the van down less then three blocks away and found Wilson at a friend's house nearby.

Wilson was released after his preliminary hearing on Thursday. His arraignment is scheduled for April 10.
