Police: Eagleville Man Charged for Tearing Up Turf at Elementary School

Police report that the Shady Grove Elementary School's soccer field was vandalized.

According to Whitpain Police, an Eagleville man has been charged with Criminal Mischief in connection to vandalism of a soccer field belonging to a Wissahickon School District Elementary School.

On Nov. 2, at 1 p.m., police responded to a call at Shady Grove Elementary School, where someone had caused extensive turf damage to the soccer field. Whitpain Police investigation found that the vehicle that caused the damage was a black Dodge Pickup truck with out of state tags.

An officer noticed the truck on Skippack Pike, while on patrol. The driver was identified as David Castellon of the 100 block of Eagle Stream Drive in Eagleville, who was charged with Criminal Mischief and arraigned by District Justice Lawrence and was given ROR (Release on Own Recognizance) Bail.
