Two SUVs Involved in Accident on Ridge Pike at Sunnyside

Two SUVs were involved in a collision on Tuesday evening.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety's computer-aided dispatch (CAD), units were called out to an accident in Lower Providence Township at 6:46 p.m.

The accident occured on Ridge Pike at Sunnyside Avenue. Traffic police are at the scene directing vehicles around the incident space.

The call noted that injuries had been sustained. It is unknown the extent of the injuries or the number of persons involved.

Westbound traffic along Ridge Pike has been closed off at Park Avenue as police investigate the scene. Lower Providence Community Center Ambulance is at the scene offering EMS services. Lower Providence Township Fire Department is also on the scene assisting emergency crews.
