Police: $1,100 Generator Reported Stolen in Trooper

The generator was reported to be under a tarp and on the back deck.

Lower Providence Police report that a 5500-watt Generac generator was stolen from the back deck of a home, located on the 100 block of Oaklyn Ave. in Trooper. The report states that the generator, described as black and orange, was estimated to be worth $1,100. It was last seen, covered by a tarp on the back deck of the residence on Dec. 28, 2012 and was noticed missing the following day. The report to police was made on Jan. 3.

Owners of the generator did not recall hearing or seeing anything unusual prior to the theft.
