Recognize Your Favorite Veteran With a Brick in LPT's 'Walk of Honor'

Lower Providence residents can purchase an engraved brick to be installed in the township's memorial.

In 2004, Lower Providence Township officially dedicated the Veterans Memorial and Walk of Honor installed in front of the township building. While it stands as a reminder of LPT's commitment to those who have served our country, it's also an opportunity for residents to remember those close to them who have donned the uniform.

According to the township, current and former residents can purchase a commemorative brick, engraved with a soldier's name, his or her rank, branch and date of military service to be installed in the walk of honor directly in front of the township building. The cost is $25 and all proceeds go to care and maintenance of the memorial.
