Brenda Hackett Sworn in As Temporary Methacton Board Member

She received 23.95% of the unofficial Nov. 5 vote, which was the highest percentage for the board position.

Brenda G. Hackett, who received the highest percentage of votes, unofficially, for a Methacton School District Board of Directors position in the November election, was sworn in as a temporary board member at the board’s Tuesday work session, and will remain in that position until the Dec. 3 reorganization meeting.

Board president Joyce Petrauskas helped Hackett, who received 23.95% of the unofficial Nov. 5 vote, with 3,500 votes, to take her oath.

Hackett’s appointment follows the Sept. 23 resignation of board member Howard Jones.
