Community Invited to Student Art Exhibit

More than 85 Montgomery County Community College students will be displaying their artwork in the show.

Montgomery County Community College will be showcasing the talent of its art students at its 47th Annual Art Students’ Exhibition which opens Wednesday, April 9, and continues through Friday, April 25, at the Fine Arts Center Gallery, Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell.

More than 85 students will be displaying their artwork in the show. The reception for the artists will be heldWednesday, April 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. with the awards ceremony at 6 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free of charge and open to the public.

The exhibition includes a full-range of media, including ceramics, sculptures, oil paintings, water colors, drawings, photography, digital arts and mixed media.

The Fine Arts Center Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Parking is available in the lot off of Route 202.
