PHOTOS: Pillows, Popcorn and Pajamas at Woodland

Woodland fourth-grade students enjoy an annual tradition.

The fourth-grade students celebrate their final year at Woodland Elementary School in various ways throughout the year.

Pillows, Popcorn and Pajamas is typically one of the most popular events on that list. The students are dropped off at the school, donning their comfy jammies. They get to take to the halls and classroom spaces, usually used for learning, to instead watch movies and talk with friends.

Students get to munch on popcorn as they view a few flicks. They also are given white T-shirts to honor the event. Through the night, much like a "wearable yearbook," the kids get their friends to sign their names to the shirts' backs.

Add in a few games, laughs and great times, and the children are then picked up. It passes by so quickly, but all seemed to have a great time.

Woodland Elementary School is a part of the Methacton School District. It is located along Woodland Avenue, in Eagleville. It was voted as a 2012 "Best in Montco" elementary school by the Times Herald.
