Methacton App Free for iPhone and Android

The Methacton School District mobile phone app is now available for iPhones and Android phones, according to Angela Linch, the district’s Coordinator of School and Community Information.

At the Board of School Directors’ Tuesday evening meeting, Linch described the functions of the app and where to download it for free.

Users can look at calendar events and other features like a phone directory. “The most popular hands down on the menu are school menus,” said Linch.

When the district sends out an alert, it will be received on the app, she said.

The app might not be free at a later point.
