Methacton Cancels Friday Afterschool and Evening Activities
Concerns about the impending storm have caused Methacton School District to cancel some scheduled events for Friday and reschedule some others later this weekend.
Methacton School District issued the following release Friday afternoon, Feb. 8:
All after school and evening activities have been cancelled for Friday, Feb. 8. The YMCA program will be held as scheduled unless families are otherwise advised by the Y.
Tonight's Methacton High School boys' basketball playoff game against Phoenixville has been postponed until tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2:35 p.m. at Spring-Ford Area School District. The girls' basketball playoff game against Pope John Paul II High School will take place tomorrow, but will begin at the delayed time of 6 p.m. at Spring-Ford.
The Methacton High School wrestling meet will take place on Saturday, Feb. 9, but will not begin until the delayed start time of 2 p.m.
All Methacton Community Education program classes and any planned use of facilities by outside organizations have been cancelled for tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 9.
