There are still spots available in August for Lower Providence’s Summer Sports and Special Camps for children, where kids can do anything from build NASA-inspired LEGO models to compete in ‘Cupcake/Cake Wars.’
According to Recreation Superintendant Karen Hegedus, the six, week-long camps are supplemental summer activities that run at various times in August. We’re really excited, the numbers are all good to go. The LEGO space camp looks really cool; they’re going to do so much building with the LEGOs. And the cupcake camps look neat,” she said.
According to Hegedus, while is it best that children are registered by the week before camp, they can try register up to a few days before a camp. For more information visit here.
