LP Police Seek Men Wanted for Assault, Bad Checks

Daniel James Long and Leonard Earl Lyles are wanted by the LPTPD.

Do you recognize these faces?  Daniel James Long (first photo, white male) is wanted by the Lower Providence Township Police, according to the department's Facebook page. The police seek Long for charges stemming from an aggravated assault incident, according to the department. Long’s date of birth is May 12, 1967. The second photo in the gallery (African American male) is Leonard Earl Lyles. He is also wanted by the LPTPD. He is wanted on charges of a misdemeanor involving bad checks. Lyles is date of birth is Aug. 29, 1979. "If you have information on the whereabouts of Long please contact the Lower Providence Township Police Department at 610-539-5901," said the post on Facebook.

Police: Update on Arcola Road Domestic Dispute

Lower Providence Police release reports providing further details about the domestic dispute in Audubon.

[Editor's Note: Some article details may be too graphic for some readers.] As previously reported on Patch, Lower Providence Police responded to a domestic dispute on Sept. 27 in Audubon, after an alleged fight between a father and son that sent the father to Paoli Hospital and the son charged with various offenses. Police responded to the incident approximately 5:25 p.m. at a residence on the 3300 Arcola Road. According to a report by Lower Providence Police, neighbors called 9-1-1 after hearing for the urgent request from the homeowner, who has been identified as the father in this incident. Police: Son Allegedly Attacks Father with Wrench

Lower Providence Police state that a domestic dispute on Arcola Road last week ended violently.

According to Lower Providence Police Chief Francis Carroll, Philadelphia resident James Torrence allegedly attacked his father with a wrench during a domestic dispute. On Sept. 27, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Lower Providence Police and Lower Providence Community Center Ambulance services responded to the domestic dispute call, as reported by neighbors on the 3300 block of Arcola Road. According to Carroll, Torrence was having dinner with his father, when, for reasons not yet released, the two had an argument, which resulted in Torrence allegedly attacking his father with a wrench. The father was taken by ambulance to Paoli Hospital at approximately 6 p.m. Police say that the father suffered a head injury, and was deemed non-life …

Police: Trappe Tavern Employee Wanted for Aggravated Assault

Pennsylvania State Police report of a Trappe Tavern employee who was allegedly involved with an altercation with other employees, and carried a knife.

Pennsylvania State Police, of the Skippack Station patrol unit, were dispatched to the Trappe Tavern on report of a subject armed with a knife. The incident took place Aug. 20, prior to police dispatch at 12:30 a.m. Police interviewed several employees of the Trappe Tavern, located in Trappe Borough, each of whom reported that a male subject named Sean had a knife and was causing a disturbance. The Trappe Tavern manager identified to police that the subject is Sean Quinn, 45, of Phoenixville, who is in fact an employee of the tavern, but was not working on the date of the incident.
