Crash Victim Identified, Community Remembers
Family members identified the teen killed in Saturday's crash.
The teenager killed in a weekend auto accident has been identified by family members as 16-year-old Austin Perdue of Mont Clare. Perdue, a rising sophomore at Spring-Ford Area High School, was killed when he was ejected from the back seat of a car that crashed on Longford Road in Upper Providence. A memorial page was created on Facebook, which at last count had over 200 members. "We were all very fortunate to have you in our lives even for the short time you were here, you made an impact on the lives of many, your [sic] were full of life and your personality was one of the most colorful of anyone we have ever met," posted Tuesday Rosenberger.
