More Arrests Made in Alleged Lower Frederick Shooting Incident

Desiree Cucolo, of Lower Frederick, and Kristy Willson, of Royersford, were arrested after an incident in which a felon allegedly shot a gun into a tree.

Two additional arrests have been made in connection with a March 25 Lower Frederick incident in which a felon allegedly fired a handgun into a tree, according to the Lower Frederick Township Police. Desiree Cucolo, 32, of Lower Frederick, and Kristy Wilson, 34, of Royersford, are facing charges stemming from the incident near Second Avenue and Main Street around 9:30 p.m., when police responded to a report of shots fired and found convicted felon Daniel DeFreitas, 31, of Eagleville, allegedly in possession of a handgun concealed in the waistband of his pants. DeFreitas was charged with illegally possessing a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, recklessly endangering another person, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and …

Pee Break Leads To Coke Bust

An outdoor bathroom stop in Eagleville on Thanksgiving night led to drug charges for a Spring Mount area man. Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, Lower Providence Police Corporal Michael Slattery was on foot outside the Lower Providence Fire Department on Ridge Pike when he noticed a Chevrolet Silverado truck in the building's parking lot, according to a criminal complaint filed by Slattery. According to Slattery, a man standing next to the truck was urinating in the parking lot. The man then entered the back seat of the truck, which, Slattery wrote, backed up and "accelerated at a high rate of speed, spinning the tires as it left the lot."
