A boyfriend and girlfriend were found in bad shape after a reported spat on Pawlings Road.
Lower Providence Police responded to the 1500 block of Pawlings Road for an unknown type of disturbance on Oct. 7, according an affidavit of probable cause by Lower Providence Police Cpl. Walter Trimbur. Police arrived at approximately 2:30 a.m. to find Rahsaan Boynes, of Norristown, his girlfriend and another male by a tan Buick on the northbound lane of Pawlings Road. It was reported that Boynes and the girlfriend were both observed to have injuries consistent from a fight. Further signs of a physical altercation were observed on the ground and on the driver’s side door of the car. Inexperience of new scooter driver may have contributed to a minor traffic accident in Audubon, July 25.
According to Lower Providence Police, a single vehicle traffic accident occurred, July 25 near Pawlings and Audubon roads. The operator of the vehicle, a moped scooter, was reported to be travelling north on the mid-block of Pawlings Road, south of Audubon Road. According to the police report, another vehicle was traveling behind the scooter operator, when the vehicle legally passed the scooter, using the southbound travel lane. Upon attempting to merge back into the northbound travel lane, the report states that the scooter operator lost control, and was able to lay down his vehicle on the right shoulder of Pawlings Road.
