Local authorities are searching for a man who has exposed himself, masturbated in public before walkers in both townships.
After five reported cases, the area's police are working together to find a man that has been exposing himself in public. Lower Providence and Upper Providence Township Police Departments are investigating five reported incidents of indecent exposure occurring between April 6 and May 12 in both Lower Providence or Upper Providence townships. The incidents have occurred in the late afternoon and early evening as area residents walk along roads or trails, according to police. Each of the five reports were filed as having happened between 3:20 and 7:25 p.m. Police say that the man would be in place prior to the walkers approaching, jump out of his vehicle without any pants on, or with his pants pulled down. Jordan Burnham, 23, of Eagleville, was arrested for DUI by the Pennsylvania State Police on May 8.

DUI: On May 8 at 2:20 a.m., members of the Pennsylvania State Police initiated a traffic stop of a gold, 2009 Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Lewis Road and Crown Point Drive in Limerick. The report indicated that the driver of the vehicle – identified as Jordan Burnham, 23, of Eagleville – showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Burnham was arrested for DUI, and transported to the PSP Skippack Barracks for chemical breath testing. Charges are pending in District Court 38-1-19. The trooper was responding to an incident with emergency lights activated.
A Norristown teen was cited after being struck by a state police car in Worcester. The car had its emergency lights activated, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. It happened on Friday, April 19 at approximately 9:15 p.m. The 17-year-old girl was reportedly traveling eastbound in a Chevrolet Cavalier on Germantown Pike near West Adair Drive in Worcester when she was struck by State Trooper Kevin Allison, 40, who was making a left onto West Adair Drive in a Pennsylvania State Police vehicle. At the time, Allison was responding to an incident with emergency lights activated on his 2010 Crown Victoria. Sixty local professionals shared a slice of life of what the future may hold for the young Methacton students.
Skyview Upper Elementary School students were given a whirlwind of a day when 60 working professionals presented many different career opportunities awaiting them. The State Police have complied with State Rep. Todd Stephens' request to have mental health records included in a national gun check database.
It took 18 months, but State Rep. Todd Stephens said the Pennsylvania State Police have begun sending the mental health records of people prohibited from buying firearms to a federal database. Stephens (R-151) of Horsham, has been working for a year and a half to prevent what he calls a “loophole” pertaining to the inclusion of mental health records in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). Without that inclusion, Stephens said anyone from Pennsylvania who has been involuntarily committed, or found to be mentally deficient - and thus ineligible to buy firearms - could travel to another state and buy a gun. Twelve people were arrested for impaired driving by Troop K of the Pennsylvania State Police over the New Year's Day holiday period, the agency said Wednesday. The Skippack-based troop said the 12 DUI arrests were made during "extra enforcement efforts" intended to "ensure citizens could travel safely along the Commonwealth's highways" during the holiday's increased traffic. Troop K covers highways in Montgomery, Delaware and Philadelphia counties, in addition to providing local law enforcement for municipalities without their own police departments. In addition to the arrests, the state police issued 469 citations and handled 45 crashes during the two-day holiday enforcement period. Four of the crashes were alcohol related, police said.

Pennsylvania State Police report that the Eagleville man failed field sobriety tests.
Pennsylvania State Police reported that a severe auto accident, which occurred on Dec. 1, was caused by an apparently impaired driver from Eagleville. The report states that at approximately 1 a.m., a 23-year-old male from Eagleville, travelled southbound on Bridge Road in Skippack Township, where he failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway, causing the vehicle to strike another vehicle in the northbound lane. The Eagleville man’s vehicle traveled off the roadway into a ditch, whereas the struck vehicle was pushed across the southbound lane.
